So that all took place over about an 18-month to 2-year period of time that I went from being chief cook and bottle washer to now I had people who knew more about what they were doing than I did. And that… That sort of helped me. That gave me the opportunity to kind of sit back and look at, okay, I’d never been to a zoo. I didn’t want to work in a zoo. Now I’m a zoo director. I guess I’m into this thing. (laughs) You know, up until that point, when John Mehrtens was fired in April, I actually had gone to the post office and gotten a federal job application.
