But it was a very, very interesting engaging time to come to such an institution and help develop a program that had been committed to back in the 20s when the Chicago Zoological Society was formed. So that’s how I came to be at Brookfield Zoo. And I came in November 1, 1956, to Brookfield after a haring Halloween night, getting here through various, there were no super highways or anything of that sort. And I had four flat tires in the morning as a result of Halloween pranks at Sarah. But November 1 at Brookfield Zoo in 1956 was also the arrival of their first female okapi.
